Kohler, WI (Ideally onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) Opportunity Kohler Co. is looking for a Senior Category Manager with exceptional critical thinking skills and a passion for driving results to join the growing Cross Category team. You will be joining a strong global brand committed to living on the leading edge in design and technology of product and process. The Senior Category Manager will execute a commercial and water management strategy to deliver incredible customer experience, an optimized product mix, and strong financial results in close collaboration with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will exhibit the following: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills High-level presentation/communication skills Leads with curiosity and creative thinking Displays initiative to find solutions and work effectively with all levels in the organization Set strong example through work product, energy, attitude and technical skills Strong interest in analytics Specific Responsibilities Own P&L monthly including Risks & Opportunities for sub-category Own price and margin realization (PMR) metrics, insights, and actions based on reporting from sales enablement and/or finance for sub-category Product assortment: select and curate a range of products that aligns with channel needs and market trends Develop comprehensive pricing & promotional plan for sub-category while owning short-term and permanent price changes Collaborate with brand & channel marketing to develop appropriate programs and promotions to deliver quarterly and annual results Collaborate with marketing teams to develop & execute best-in-class new product launch plans Significant contributor to customer presentations Provide the inputs for the financial & S&OP forecast and is the primary point of contact in the weekly S&OE meeting for sub-category to ensure sales performance targets are achieved Monitor internal and external inventory quantities to provide strong, consistent delivery & service Proactively takes action to mitigate excess & obsolete inventory levels while setting item level stocking strategies Voice of the customer and first point of contact for sales Own the commercialization process for commercial new product launches Skills/Requirements Bachelor's degree in any field. MBA preferred. 7+ years product or category management experience with strong analytical and presentation skills Hands-on, detail oriented, energetic and results-driven Experience with product development, channel development, and/or marketing Experience with developing and executing GTM plans and activations Travel Approximately 10-25% Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
