Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Scaffold Journeyman to join our staff located at La Porte, TX. They must be responsible for the safe and efficient erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems used throughout the petrochemical facility. Other duties as assigned. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding and temporary structures. Determine scaffold type and configuration based on job requirements. Inspect job sites and scaffold materials for safety hazards and defects. Secure scaffolding to permanent structures for stability. Perform final inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crafts to coordinate scaffold needs. Maintain proper documentation and tagging of scaffold structures. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications: Experience

35 years of scaffold building experience in industrial or petrochemical environments. Ability to read blueprints and scaffold plans. Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding conditions. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent NCCER Scaffold Certification or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Valid TWIC card Meet physical demands as listed above. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned location. Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment.
