Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Scaffold Foreman to join our staff located at La Porte, TX. They must be able to monitor close supervision of craft workers. Engage in the same construction trades work as the workers they supervise as the need arises. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Champion and exemplify Austin culture across all business operations. Facilitate daily safety briefings and toolbox talks to reinforce safe work practices. Ensure compliance with Austin, client, OSHA, and site-specific safety regulations, especially in hazardous chemical environments. Verify that all scaffold structures meet safety standards and are inspected before use. Review scope of work and manage change orders to prevent unauthorized or out-of-scope tasks. Ensure scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling are performed according to customer specifications and engineering designs. Coordinate scaffold activities to support plant operations, maintenance, and shutdown schedules. Assign tasks to crew members based on skill level and project needs. Qualifications: Experience: 4+ years' experience in craft and/or 2+ years' supervisory/leadership experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Valid NCCER Valid Driver's License Must furnish FRC's and personal tools. Must be Clean Shaven Meet physical demands as listed above Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned location Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment Applicants must be legally able to work for ANY employer in the United States.
