The position will have the following requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen Bachelor's degree Graduate from a medical technology program Medical Technologists (MT) and/or Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) The MT or MLT must be certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) or an equivalent MT, MLS, or CLS certification with appropriate training and a minimum of one year of experience All Medical Technologists must have a minimum of one year of experience as a Generalist. A generalist is defined as a Medical Technologist that can perform testing in all areas of the Clinical Laboratory, to include Chemistry, Blood Bank, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis. Additionally, experience in Microbiology is preferred Must have current ACLS or BLS certification Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
