Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt)
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an exciting potential opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support the Armed Services Blood Bank Center located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, WA. This position offers a unique chance to serve in a military medical setting and contribute to lifesaving efforts through blood collection and processing. Requirements: Graduate of a NAACLS or ABHES-accredited MLT program (or acceptable to AMT) Certified as an MLT by ASCP, AMT, or equivalent Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical lab (e.g., hematology, microbiology, blood bank, etc.) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory testing, blood collection, and component preparation Interview and screen donors according to FDA and SOP guidelines Operate and maintain lab and apheresis equipment Ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and data entry of blood products Support mobile blood drives and maintain supply inventory Follow all safety and quality control protocols This position will offer: Full Time - Monday - Friday PTO and Sick time Paid Federal Holidays Competitive hourly rate Medical / Dental / Vision / 401k This is a rewarding opportunity for professionals who value precision, compassion, and teamwork in a mission-driven environment.
