The Four Seasons Resort L?na'i is looking for an In Room Dining Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required. What You'll Do: Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel's Room Service Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met: long-range strategic planning for outlet operation. Oversee In Room Dining team. The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts. Describe and ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for 24-hour a day in-room dining and in-room private bar services. The ability to work closely with the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to design effective menu and amenity options while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control. Observe the physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed. Ensure accurate and consistent use of IRD systems, including IRIS and EMC, to streamline operations, support timely service delivery, and maintain overall accuracy in billing, ordering, and inventory control. Analyze service metrics, guest feedback, and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate the overall in-room dining guest experience. Champion the highest set of standards, through consistent coaching and training to ensure all team members deliver a refined, thoughtful, and personalized guest experience aligned with our brand standards. What To Bring: Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States (unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at another Four Seasons location as they may qualify for an L-1 Visa sponsorship). Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts.
