Duties of the sheet metal fabricator: Set up and operate press brake, turret, CNC laser, punch press, shear, or waterjet Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers Read and interpret blueprints Perform machine setups Apply shop math for accurate production Work with GD&T (helpful but not required) Affix tooling, safety chains, light screens, limit switches, and other equipment Requirements of the sheet metal fabricator: 2+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and machine operation Experience with micrometers, calipers, and blueprint reading Ability to perform machine setups and shop math calculations Knowledge of GD&T is helpful Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Apply today!
