As an assembler, you will be responsible for handling fiber cable by measuring, cutting, and placing it in a clip according to a blueprint or work instruction. You will feed color-coded wires through a connector with precise accuracy. After adding a drop of epoxy, the assembly is placed into a curing device for drying and goes through a final polishing stage before being tested for proper connections. This role requires the use of small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes. Pay: $20-25
Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and place fiber cables according to blueprints. Feed color-coded wires through connectors with precision. Add epoxy and pull wires through to complete the coding. Place assembly into curing device and perform final polishing. Test assemblies to ensure all connections are working properly. Utilize small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes. Essential Skills
1+ year of manufacturing experience, particularly in small parts or medical device assembly. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to see color for accurate wire placement. Additional Skills & Qualifications
