Clinical Faculty Position At Keene State College
Clinical Faculty position that includes serving as the Zoulias Director of the Thorne Sagendorph Art Gallery. Responsibilities include teaching courses, coordinating exhibitions, installing artwork, mentoring students, and performing various administrative and curatorial duties. The teaching load for this role is three courses in the fall semester and two in the spring. Duties/Responsibilities
Delivery of course instruction within specific area. Crafting a year-round schedule of exhibitions that are challenging, innovative, and socially relevant, including originally curated exhibitions, student and faculty exhibitions, and exhibitions utilizing the College's permanent collection. Building and fostering relationships with a wide range of constituents including faculty, students, staff, community members, and donors. Leveraging the Thorne Sagendorph to help recruit and retain students Developing programming that enhances and supports the undergraduate curriculum at Keene State College and provides students with high-impact learning experiences in a gallery space. Developing programming that reaches diverse audiences through school programs, lectures, public tours, performances, and partnerships with other campus and community organizations. Working with Advancement to respond to donor requests and assess potential donations and regularly reviewing MOUs to ensure that we remain compliant Work with Advancement and the department to supervise, and make recommendations regarding the maintenance and display of, the permanent collection Install exhibitions Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: Consistent record of successful teaching, of service to the college and students, including academic advising, and of certification appropriate to the discipline. Expertise in contemporary art history, first-year Foundations, and courses in major and general education.
