Business Analyst is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of Commercial and Residential Lending Loan Origination Software (LOS). This role involves developing and maintaining accurate, user-friendly reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Crystal Reports, Power BI, and SQL. The analyst will also support the evaluation and implementation of new software products and data migration initiatives across the Bank. As a Report Writer
Business Analyst, you are responsible for: Technical & Analytical Functions - Administer and support LOS platforms. - Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Crystal Reports, Power BI, and SQL. - Create complex SQL queries and combine data from multiple sources to generate comprehensive reports and visualizations. - Document business reporting requirements and produce technical documentation for all reports. - Conduct testing and implementation of LOS software upgrades and releases. Project & Product Support - Facilitate the implementation and/or migration of software applications and products. - Assist in evaluating new technologies and software solutions. - Act as the primary point of contact for lending software applications and operational support. Collaboration & Communication - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization. - Serve on the Lending Software User Committee and communicate updates to stakeholders. - Interact with internal departments, external vendors, auditors, and examiners. Compliance & Documentation - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations, including BSA, OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act. - Ensure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures in assigned areas. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of two years of experience with Crystal Reports, Power BI, and SQL query development. At least two years of experience in a lending or financial services environment. Physical Qualifications - Primarily office-based with minimal travel. - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. - Capable of lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally. - Frequent use of standard office equipment. Other Requirements - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments. - Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. - Demonstrated initiative and accountability in task execution. - Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
