Functional Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Taxation, SAP Cost Center Accounting, SAP Profitability Analysis, SAP Product Costing, SAP Automatic Payments, and SAP FICO. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of finance and accounting processes to drive business solutions effectively. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel. In this role, you will: Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions focusing on taxation, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis. Oversee the integration of SAP FICO modules to streamline financial operations and enhance reporting accuracy. Provide expert guidance on product costing and automatic payment processes to optimize financial workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless SAP system integration and functionality. Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions that align with organizational goals. Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configurations and processes to ensure clarity and consistency. Conduct regular system audits and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal system performance. Train and support end-users to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of SAP applications. Monitor and evaluate SAP system performance, recommending improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all SAP-related activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SAP system capabilities and user experience. Support the finance and accounting teams in leveraging SAP tools for strategic decision-making. What you need to have to be considered: Possess strong technical skills in SAP Taxation, SAP Cost Center Accounting, and SAP Profitability Analysis. Demonstrate proficiency in SAP Product Costing, SAP Automatic Payments, and SAP FICO. Have a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices. Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
