CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE
Primary Objective
Maintain customer communications and facilitate order requirements.
Basic function
Coordinate and develop information regarding orders, production status, inventory, scheduling, division performance, and shipping. Interact with customers.
Schedule
Monday - Friday / 8am to 5pm
Salary
Annual rate of $45K / year based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
Develop documentation regarding the following:
Order entry Production status Inventory Scheduling Invoicing Shipping
Communicate with customers. Coordinate shipping arrangements. Review commercial aspects of orders. Maintain key-factor measurements. Track vendor deliveries. Enter information into MRP software. Supervisory Responsibilities
Coordinate efforts for proper shipping and scheduling. Coordinate the efforts of others according to need. Skills
Computer literacy and competency beyond the intermediate level applied in educational and work settings. Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience
General knowledge and understanding of transportation requirements. General understanding of PRP and VAR (metal) products and activities. Education/Training
High School/GED; Some college preferred.
