Quality Engineer
Selectek is looking for a Quality Engineer to assist in improving and maintaining the quality program and continuous improvement within the plant and with suppliers. Responsibilities
Work with Suppliers on Quality inspections and audits ISO Documentation and revision Lead Audits Continuous improvement through planning and leading kaizen events Support plant operations as necessary to ensure KPIs are met Corrective and Preventive Action using (Fishbone, DMAIC Process, 8D, 5 Why's Address non-conformance using 5-Step corrective action process; problem description, containment, root cause analysis, permanent corrective action, and verification. Conducting root cause and corrective action for manufacturing non-conformances Work instructions, standard work, and process flows Knowledge of Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Galvanized Ste Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred Equivalent experience may be considered 2 Years Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Engineering Excellent verbal and written communication Kaizen leadership experience Limited travel required for job, 25% Pay Rate: $70,000 - $80,000 annually Term: Direct Hire
