Ginger Cove is currently seeking a Full-Time Receptionist. The Receptionist is responsible for working in accordance with established policies and procedures, and/or specific instruction from the Director of Administrative Services and Technology or Lead Receptionist. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the daily events and activities throughout the Facility. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinates all incoming calls; transfers calls to proper departments Greets and guides all visitors, contractors, vendors, family members and residents Create and completes work order requests by residents and staff Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail and packages; prepares outgoing mail and coordinates with delivery services as needed Responsible for the distribution, tracking, and security of all common area keys Assist residents in guest room reservations, activities and transportation Maintains and organizes all front desk forms, both paper and electronic, ensuring they are accurate, up to date, and readily accessible to residents, staff and visitors Maintains acceptable record keeping practices including electronic daily log, front desk instruction manual, key log, and telephone list Responsible for relaying any pertinent information to the evening and weekend front desk staff Assist residents in faxing and copying personal documents Attending scheduled in-services and training as required Perform other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required. Thorough knowledge and skill in typing and use of office equipment, i.e. postage machine, telephones, copier, fax machine, etc. Must be able to maintain complete confidentiality regarding resident information. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Computer literacy. Must have a valid driver's license in the state of Maryland. Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe. Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly, and tact in dealing with others.
