About the Role:
Join Adams, Inc. as a Residential Electrical Estimator in Elkhorn, WI, where your expertise will help shape our residential projects. This part-time, as-needed position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a significant impact in our growing company. This is not a full-time role; we are seeking someone with electrical estimating experience to fill in as needed for selected projects.
The pay range for this role varies on recent, relevant experience; though the typical pay range will be between $40 - $50 per hour
Responsibilities: Prepare detailed estimates for residential electrical projects. Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project costs. Consult with clients to clarify project requirements and expectations. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability. Review and adjust estimates based on project changes and client feedback. Maintain accurate records of estimates and project documents. Assist in developing project budgets and timelines. Stay updated on industry trends and local codes to ensure compliance.
Requirements: Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the residential sector. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in estimation software such as Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite or able to learn quickly. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
