is seeking a compassionate and experienced
Registered Nurse (RN)
to provide exceptional end-of-life care and emotional support to patients and their families in a hospice setting. This role emphasizes comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals facing terminal illnesses.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with established hospice protocols and patient care plans. Assess and manage symptoms such as pain, anxiety, and respiratory distress to maximize patient comfort. Educate patients and families on disease progression, medications, and palliative interventions. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, chaplains, and home health aides. Provide emotional and psychosocial support to patients and families during all phases of care. Document all patient interactions, assessments, and changes in condition in accordance with hospice regulations. Ensure compliance with hospice, state, and federal regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state. Minimum of 1 year of hospice, palliative care, or related clinical experience preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient- and family-centered approach. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in emotionally sensitive situations.
