Quality Technician

Conduct 1st article, in-process, and final inspections on sheet metal fabricated and painted parts. Inspect sheet metal parts using quality tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and surface plates for inspection of fabricated, welded, or plated metals. Utilize blueprints to perform and execute quality checks on machine and fabricated parts. Maintain accurate documentation for prototype and medium-run parts, including PPAP documentation. Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards on tight tolerance parts. Essential Skills

Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and surface plates. Experience performing 1st Article, In-Process, and final inspections. Knowledgeable in GD&T symbols. Familiarity with sheet metal inspection and PPAP processes. Strong understanding of quality inspection, control, and blueprint interpretation. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with vision systems or CMM, such as Virtex scanner and vision systems, is a plus. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and data entry. Why Work Here?

This is a Permanent position based in Blaine, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64000.00 - $72000.00/yr. - Company paid medical benefits - Beautiful sheet metal precision job shop- 401K matching - 2 weeks paid vacation eligible after 90 days- 2nd generation family business, so it still has a small company feel- Monthly company catered lunch for safety rewards, and a high focus on shop safety Workplace Type
