$26 to $29 per hour JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled
Equipment Programming & Inventory Technician
to join our
Rental Division . This role will primarily focus on programming rental equipment to meet customer specifications, while also overseeing inventory control to ensure the availability and proper condition of all rental assets. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and thrive in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Program and configure rental equipment
to meet customer needs, ensuring it is properly set up and ready for use. Perform
testing, calibration, and troubleshooting
of rental equipment to verify functionality and quality before shipment or customer use. Fulfill
rental change orders
(Daily, Weekly, Monthly), adjusting programming and configurations as needed. Manage inventory
of rental equipment, ensuring all assets are tracked, maintained, and properly stored. Conduct regular
inventory audits
to ensure accuracy and avoid equipment shortages or overstocking. Update and maintain records of all equipment configurations in the system (e.g., FileMaker), ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation. Handle the
shipping, receiving, and delivery
of rental equipment, ensuring timely and accurate execution of orders. Collaborate with the team to monitor and maintain
adequate inventory levels , proactively addressing potential shortages or delays. Provide
technical support
for customers, assisting with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment. Work closely with cross-functional teams
to ensure smooth operations and optimal equipment availability for customers. Complete
work orders
and ensure clear, effective communication with customers regarding their equipment needs, status, and any adjustments made. QUALIFICATIONS Strong technical skills
with experience in equipment programming, configuration, and setup (e.g., audiovisual, industrial equipment, etc.). Inventory management experience : Familiarity with tracking and managing inventory using software systems (e.g., FileMaker, inventory management tools). Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using work order or inventory systems. Ability to troubleshoot
programming issues
and make adjustments quickly to meet customer needs. Safety-conscious
with knowledge of safety standards and job site safety procedures. Strong
organizational skills , attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Must have a
clean driving record
and a valid driver’s license for equipment delivery and pick-up. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear, professional manner to customers. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
