Account Director
to manage a portfolio of national clients and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team. This client-facing leadership role blends strategic oversight, revenue growth, and team development to drive outstanding results. Responsibilities: · Own strategy and execution for a defined book of business, acting as the primary strategist and point of accountability for client success. · Provide strategic direction across digital marketing, content and PR to ensure cohesive, impactful campaigns. · Lead, mentor and develop a team of Account Managers, Content, Media Relations/PR and Digital team members. · Bring a strong foundation in digital marketing to evaluate, manage, and optimize digital initiatives. · Delegate day-to-day execution to Account Managers while providing oversight and strategic guidance. · Manage portfolio P&L, driving scope growth and identifying new business opportunities. · Monitor performance metrics, analyze campaign data, and present insights with actionable recommendations. · Contribute to process improvements and ensure operational excellence within the account management function. Qualifications: · 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing within an agency setting. · Experience working with PR and content teams. · Proven track record of managing complex client portfolios, leading teams, and delivering measurable results. · Strong digital marketing expertise with the ability to assess and guide execution. · Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. · Proven ability to strategize and execute across multiple channels. · Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred.
