Manual Machinist

$30/hr Manual Machinist – Precision, Craftsmanship, and Quality You Can See About the Role We’re looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our manufacturing team and help us produce high-quality, precision components for industries that demand excellence. This is an opportunity to work with your hands, your head, and your experience—bringing designs to life using traditional machining techniques on lathes, mills, and grinders. What You’ll Do
Set up and operate manual lathes, Bridgeport mills, and other conventional machine tools to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders. Select appropriate tooling, measure materials, and make adjustments to ensure exact tolerances. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify specifications. Maintain machines by performing basic preventive maintenance and keeping a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and improve processes. What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience as a Manual Machinist (or equivalent hands-on machining experience). Proficient in blueprint reading, machining mathematics, and precision measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
