Job Description Title : Surgery Center Administrator – Ambulatory Surgical Services Location : Rock Hill, SC Employment
Type: Full-Time | Executive Level Avant Tech is seeking a seasoned healthcare leader to serve as Surgery Center Administrator for a multi-specialty, physician-owned, AAAHC-accredited surgery center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This executive-level position oversees all operational, clinical, financial, and compliance functions to ensure high-quality surgical care, strong physician partnerships, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Direct daily operations of the ASC, including staff management, scheduling, and patient flow. Serve as liaison between governing board, physicians, and all facility departments. Develop and manage operational and capital budgets. Oversee purchasing, contracts, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (AAAHC, CMS). Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Manage physician relationships and address performance or operational challenges. Implement strategic growth initiatives and marketing plans. Lead quality improvement, infection control, and performance review processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s or Nursing degree strongly preferred). Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in ASC or hospital surgical services. Clinical background (RN or equivalent) strongly preferred. Proven ability to manage complex operations, budgets, and staff. Strong communication, problem-solving, and physician relationship skills.
