Job Description POSITION – BUSSER / FOOD RUNNER RATE OF PAY - $12.00 - $13.00 PER HOUR + TIPS EMPLOYEE CATEGORY - SEASONAL
ABOUT OUR ROLE The Busser supports the front-of-house team by quickly clearing and resetting tables, refilling beverages, and helping deliver food as needed. They ensure the dining room stays clean, organized, and ready for guests, helping maintain smooth and efficient service. Prepare and set dining areas and tables before, during, and after service.
Perform assigned side work and closing duties, including restocking and polishing.
Serve water, bread, and other items as required; run food to tables promptly.
Clear and reset tables between courses, keeping surrounding areas clean.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and equipment.
Greet and acknowledge guests; respond to service needs promptly.
Support service team by running food, bussing tables, and resetting sections.
Communicate clearly and maintain positive working relationships.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience as a busser, server assistant, or in hospitality preferred, but not required.
Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
Ability to stay organized and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, professional attitude with a willingness to take direction.
Commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and guest service standards.
Reliable and punctual.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
Lift, carry, and push/pull up to 40 lbs.
Frequently bend, stoop, and reach.
