Location: Hybrid (In-Person + Remote in St. Louis) Compensation: Unpaid or Stipend (Based on experience) Duration: 3-6 months (Flexible schedule) About Us: Bougie Bites STL is a fast-casual vegan restaurant and food truck serving bold, small-batch plant-based eats. We’re here to make meatless food accessible, dope, and flavorful. Our brand is rooted in community, culture, and creativity — and we’re looking for a digital marketing intern to help us grow our voice and impact. Internship Overview: As a Digital Marketing Intern at Bougie Bites, you’ll work closely with our founder and creative team to amplify our brand online. You’ll help plan, produce, and promote content across digital platforms, drive traffic to our website, and support revenue-generating campaigns. Key Responsibilities: 1. Social Media Marketing Create and schedule engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Help manage day-to-day posting, captions, and comment engagement Capture behind-the-scenes footage and guest experiences in-store Track trends and pitch fresh, relevant content ideas 2. Content Creation Film, edit, and publish short-form videos and photo content Assist in developing storytelling series (e.g. “Be My Guest” content, feature meals, team stories) Organize a visual content library (photos, video clips, templates) 3. Email + SMS Marketing Help design and write copy for weekly email newsletters Create SMS campaigns for promotions, events, and drops Segment audience lists and track open/click-through rates 4. Campaign & Promo Strategy Support planning for monthly promotions, grand openings, vendor events Create digital flyers and graphic assets for campaigns Monitor performance metrics to help optimize campaigns 5. Brand Growth & Research Research local influencers, food pages, and potential partners for collabs Analyze competitors and suggest content or campaign opportunities Brainstorm ways to increase foot traffic, orders, and newsletter signups Ideal Candidate: Passionate about food, culture, and digital storytelling Comfortable filming and editing on a smartphone or camera Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or other content tools Copywriting and creative marketing skills are a huge plus Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Strong communication skills and attention to detail Bonus: you’re vegan/plant-curious and love bold flavors What You’ll Gain: Real-world experience working with a fast-growing food brand Portfolio content from social campaigns, video, and email Mentorship from a serial entrepreneur with multiple businesses Opportunities to network with local creators, vendors, and foodies Free food perks, exclusive merch, and potential to grow into a paid role
