This leader will evolve a legacy automation function into a modern Infrastructure Platform Engineering (IPE) team, focused on building scalable, reusable platforms that support faster, consistent, and secure infrastructure delivery. Key Responsibilities: Build and lead the IPE team with a focus on infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), automation (Ansible), and self-service enablement. Drive platform engineering initiatives across hybrid environments (VMware, OpenShift), including reusable infrastructure pipelines and automation tooling. Own and operate the container platform (OpenShift), ensuring reliability, scalability, and ease of use. Lead Linux OS engineering efforts, with focus on automation, standardization, and compliance. Strong architecture skills and ability to deliver scalable, automated solutions. Proven ability to lead across silos and engage stakeholders effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with VMware/VCF and integration into automation frameworks. Exposure to internal developer platforms, service catalogs, or infrastructure self-service models. Financial services experience is a plus, but not required.
