About the Role: The Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events within the finance and insurance sector, specifically tailored to the unique environment of a wine shop location in IL02. This position requires managing all logistical aspects of events, from initial concept development through to successful completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations. The coordinator will collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to create seamless and memorable experiences that enhance brand presence and customer engagement. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential to meet deadlines and budget constraints. Ultimately, the Event Coordinator will contribute to driving business growth by delivering high-quality events that foster client relationships and promote the company’s services effectively. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in event planning or coordination, preferably within finance, insurance, or retail environments. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with proven experience managing complex projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Experience coordinating events in a retail or specialty shop setting, such as a wine shop or similar environment. Knowledge of the finance and insurance industry to better tailor event content and client engagement strategies. Certification in event planning (e.g., CMP, CSEP) or related professional credentials. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms to support event promotion. Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts to optimize event expenditures. Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate all event logistics including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and transportation. Develop detailed event timelines and budgets, ensuring all activities are executed within scope and financial parameters. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to secure necessary resources and services. Manage event registration processes, attendee communications, and on-site event support to ensure smooth operations. Evaluate event success through feedback and performance metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Skills: The Event Coordinator will utilize strong organizational skills daily to manage multiple event components simultaneously, ensuring all details are addressed from planning through execution. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with vendors, clients, and internal teams to align expectations and deliverables effectively. Proficiency with event management software and digital tools will streamline registration, scheduling, and reporting processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
