Job Description Salary: $15.00 Position Overview Are you aged 1824 and ready to gain real-world marketing experience? As a Marketing Assistant Intern, youll be part of a supportive team that values your creativity and ideas. You'll assist with social media, campaign planning, digital content, and community engagement. This role is ideal for emerging leaders eager to build a brighter future while helping connect youth and families to ART Inc.'s transformative programming. Key Responsibilities Assist in the creation and scheduling of youth-centered social media content (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube). Capture photos/video at events, ensuring proper media release protocols. Distribute flyers and promote programming in key ZIP codes (61603, 61604, 61605). Organize digital content (labeling, storage, folder structure). Participate in brainstorming and contribute creative ideas for campaigns. Support planning and execution of outreach campaigns (e.g., summer camps). Engage with community members at tabling events and assist with public-facing promotions. Monitor social media accounts, track engagement, and escalate questions/concerns as needed. Assist with email blasts and monthly newsletters using platforms like Network for Good. Key Skills Youll Develop Marketing & Branding: Learn how to effectively promote programs with authentic, targeted messaging. Digital Literacy: Build your skills using tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Google Drive. Community Engagement: Learn how to communicate clearly and confidently with diverse audiences. Organization & Time Management: Juggle tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced team environment. Content Creation: Get hands-on experience developing impactful visuals and video for social media. Preferred Qualifications Ages 1824 with a strong interest in marketing, youth outreach, or communications. High school diploma or currently enrolled in college (Marketing or related field a plus). Familiarity with social media, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools is a bonus. Creative thinker with excellent communication skills. Comfortable speaking to the public, youth, and families at outreach events. Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to grow. No previous marketing experience neededwe provide all the training! Schedule & Requirements Flexible weekday shifts with occasional evenings/weekends for events. Must have reliable transportation for outreach.
