Job Summary:

Manage day to day administration of all employee benefit programs and employee leaves of absence. Acts as an adviser to both employees and leadership. Lead the design, implementation, administration and communication of Ranken Jordans benefit programs, policies and procedures. Schedule: This is an in office role, Monday-Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

Employee Benefits (40%) Manage the electronic benefit administration module within UKG and ensure

enrollments/payroll

deductions are accurate including arrears from leaves of absence. Manage all benefits including electronic benefit system, EDI feeds, benefit interpretation, audits, renewals, new hire enrollments, open enrollment, payroll updates, COBRA, annual reporting to CMS & Plan D notice to eligible employees. Manage 403(b) Retirement plan administration. Manage all aspects of Tuition Reimbursement & Loan Forgiveness. Present benefits at New Employee Orientation. Partner with brokers and benefits vendors to ensure resolution of any claim issues. Direct contact for all employee benefit questions and responds timely. Employee Leave Management (30%) Manage all aspects of FMLA including documents, distribution, evaluation, recertification, usage & intermittent calls. Work with managers for personal LOA and ADA requests including workplace accommodations. Manage return to work from all leaves. Determine and map out potential pay components of each leave (disability, ESB, PTO, parental, maternity). Partner with HR team on cases that intersect outside of a standard employee leave of absence. Workflow and Data Management (20%) Provides support/guidance to management in relation to internal position changes. Ensure all new hires and business processes are reviewed for accuracy and timely in UKG. Track compliance with

certifications/licensure

for all staff. Provide periodic reports for compliance tracking. Participates in related Human Resource Department responsibilities that include, but are not limited to (10%) Stays current with employment law and initiates appropriate actions. Approve & track invoices related to benefits/Worker’s Comp, Education Assistance, etc. Responsible for completion of surveys and required postings. EEOC, OSHA, Salary Surveys, Federal and State posters. Assists with the development, revisions and administering HR policies, processes and procedures. Support recruitment administrative tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience. At least three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources/Benefit Management PHR, SHRM-CP or CEBS certification strongly preferred Experience with HRIS/Payroll system, UKG experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced excel skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) Detail and process oriented with excellent follow through Must be able to exercise independent judgement and critical thinking Service orientated and desire to assist others

Physical Demands:

These include sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, pulling, pushing, standing, carrying, and lifting of light loads (up to 35 lb.) as necessary.
