The incumbent serves as the Commercial Sponsorship / Marketing Manager for the Navy Marquee Run-Coronado Bay Bridge Run ("NMR-CBR"), responsible for sponsorship, advertising, and marketing efforts to expand the event's reach nationally and internationally. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Planning, directing, and implementing sponsorship and marketing programs for NRO events. Promoting participation through effective public relations and presentation. Researching and securing sponsorship partnerships, drafting agreements, and ensuring compliance. Managing digital content, social media, website, and media relations. Developing marketing strategies, creative concepts, and advertising materials. Monitoring trademarks and ensuring proper use of Navy branding. Organizing and hosting events, coordinating media coverage, and conducting market research. Managing the marketing budget and analyzing promotional strategies. Requirements include : Meeting federal employment suitability standards and background checks. Successful completion of E-Verify and financial disclosure requirements. Travel up to 35% may be required. Qualifications include : Knowledge of DoD sponsorship policies, marketing, community relations, and public affairs. Skills in media coordination, event facilitation, marketing research, and communication. Ability to develop comprehensive sponsorship and advertising plans and analyze market data. Additional information : This is a full-time, entry-level position with a focus on management and marketing.
