Provide virtual and in-person support to college students in areas such as financial aid, course registration, internships, and campus connection. Advocate for students' needs with both College Possible and higher education institutions. Primary Responsibilities
Direct Student Support (70%)
Deliver structured college curriculum supporting students in applying smart, financial literacy, planning, and transition Coach students to reach milestones like registering for classes, financial aid, re-enrollment, and transferring Create support plans based on assessments and data Maintain ongoing communication and lead regular meetings with students Support summer transitions for incoming students Respond to student communications within 2 business days Assist with financial aid renewal and career exploration Research and share career resources and opportunities Connect students with internships, mentors, and events Help resolve obstacles and advocate for students with campus offices Utilize digital tools like Salesforce and student portals Caseload & Data Management (20%)
Track and record student progress using qualitative and quantitative measures Maintain accurate records in Salesforce Generate reports on student trends and milestones Manage a caseload of up to 400 students, scheduling meetings and supporting unenrolled or transferred students Secondary Responsibilities
Attend events, college visits, and workshops Support recruitment efforts Assist with program and organizational support as needed Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required 1-3 years experience advising or mentoring students from underserved backgrounds Experience designing student communication and activities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and virtual communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Mobility and willingness to travel as needed Emotional maturity and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills Ability to interpret educational and regulatory information Physical Requirements
Lift up to 15 pounds Stand or sit for at least 7 hours daily What We Offer
