Join the Oregon Symphony Team as our Digital & Social Media Manager! Are you a creative, organized digital marketer with a passion for connecting audiences through engaging online content? The Oregon Symphony is seeking a highly motivated Digital & Social Media Manager to strengthen our online presence and amplify our brand. In this dynamic role, you’ll implement and manage digital content across social media and other key platforms—ensuring it’s accurate, timely, and aligned with our campaigns—while collaborating closely with marketing, creative, and paid media teams. Here’s how you’ll contribute to our mission: Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management:

Oversee daily scheduling, publishing, and monitoring of posts across all active social channels using Sprout Social. Implement social media plans that support seasonal and institutional goals. Content Creation & Coordination:

Gather, prepare, and post approved content—including graphics, videos, and stories—while ensuring consistent brand voice and style. Support live event coverage and content capture. Digital Platform Integration:

Partner with website, digital content, and paid media teams to coordinate updates, campaigns, and audience targeting across platforms such as Hygraph, Braze, and Tessitura. Performance Tracking:

Monitor engagement, track campaign performance, and recommend strategies to enhance reach and audience growth. Workflow & Planning:

Maintain the organization’s digital content calendar and coordinate with creative, copywriting, and project management teams to align messaging with campaign timelines. Professional Growth:

Commit to mastering core platforms and staying informed on evolving tools and trends to improve content implementation and efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing. Proficiency with major social media platforms, analytics tools, and publishing software (e.g., Sprout Social, Later). Knowledge of design/video tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. Strong organizational skills and familiarity with project management tools like Asana. Team-oriented with excellent communication skills, flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, and the ability to adapt quickly to new platforms and trends.
