The Role

Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include:

Present and sell SAFCO finance products to all levels of management within the dealership. Prepare sales action plans and schedules in SalesForce.com to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts made. Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you. Develop and maintain current client and potential client relationships within the franchise dealer community. Maintain an understanding of sales materials and keep up to date on current financial product knowledge. Participate in marketing events such as seminars and tent sales.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal Relationship Manager candidate will possess the following skill set:

College degree with two to five years of successful indirect auto finance sales experience (p Previous active participation in Outside Sales activities required). Strong communications and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate programs and policies to dealerships, along with the ability to persuade and influence others. A high level of enthusiasm and the ability to work independently. Ability to interface with a variety of areas to ensure deals are funded. Superior customer service skills. Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook), as well as being skilled in web applications (e.g., SalesForce.com). Ability to read credit reports from Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax is advantageous Understanding and experience in the use of DealerTrack and RouteOne is preferred. Ability to perform significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state Driver's License.
