$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr Job Summary:
Our Chicago area client has a long term contract opportunity for a UX/UI Writer/Content Designer. This role will focus on creating optimal team member-friendly experiences. The ideal writer for this role will be self-motivated with a passion for using the right words at the times to create the most-effective user experiences. This role can be remote.

Responsibilities:
Work with Product Development, Stakeholders, Researchers, Clinical, Legal, and UI/UX Design departments to ensure language is on-brand, clear, friendly, and concise. Keep current in assigned areas to consistently and effectively represent the brand within the marketplace. Manage timelines, milestones and internal details on project work to ensure timely delivery of work. Participate in and facilitate meetings with teams in this business area to understand and meet goals and objectives throughout project stages. Facilitate effective resolution of problems and roadblocks. Coordinate with appropriate internal teams to ensure consistency of language across all touchpoints including but not limited to: Calls-to-action Navigation Headers/Headlines Instructional text Error messages and system feedback Accessibility support
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree At least 5 years of writing experience At least 2 years of UI/UX writing experience Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Figma
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in writing, editing, copywriting, advertising, communications, journalism or similar Experience at a creative agency or large corporation Experience communicating ideas to business owners, stakeholders and senior management to persuade, gain acceptance, or sell Healthcare experience Experience creating/adapting to big brand editorial guidelines-working within an established voice as well as pushing its boundaries where appropriate Familiarity with technical documentation for customer-facing UI
skills: Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree At least 5 years of writing experience At least 2 years of UI/UX writing experience Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Figma
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in writing, editing, copywriting, advertising, communications, journalism or similar Experience at a creative agency or large corporation Experience communicating ideas to business owners, stakeholders and senior management to persuade, gain acceptance, or sell Healthcare experience Experience creating/adapting to big brand editorial guidelines-working within an established voice as well as pushing its boundaries where appropriate Familiarity with technical documentation for customer-facing UI
