Position Overview We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Breast Imager to provide vacation coverage at our high-volume, well-supported breast imaging center. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled radiologist with a passion for breast health and a commitment to quality patient care. Job Details Category Details Rate Type Hourly or Daily Schedule 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Reason for Coverage Retiring Breast Imager Average Daily Volume 57 cases/day EMR/Documentation Powerscribe, EPIC, Hologic Exam Rooms 2 3 Radiologists in Practice 5 Support Staff Experienced Mammography & Ultrasound Technologists Teleradiology Not used for breast imaging Patient Demographic Predominantly adult women (ages 35+) Modalities & Procedures
* Screening & Diagnostic Mammography * Breast MRI * Breast Ultrasound * Stereotactic Biopsies * Ultrasound-Guided Biopsies * MRI-Guided Biopsies
Qualifications
* Board Certification: ABR or AOBR (Board Eligible accepted) * Fellowship: Breast Imaging Fellowship preferred * Licensure: Must hold active California medical license (no exceptions due to credentialing timeline) * Certifications: BLS preferred
