Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on patent litigation matters. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for patent litigation cases. Manage and coordinate discovery processes, including document review, production, and deposition preparation. Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case strategy and progression. Provide strategic recommendations and advice to clients on patent-related matters. Stay updated on changes in patent law and relevant industry developments. Prepare and present cases before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and federal courts. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service. Requirements
1-6 years of patent litigation experience. Admission to the bar in the state of Washington. Superior academic credentials from an accredited law school. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Education and Certifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar in Washington. Preferred Qualifications
Degrees or industry experience in high-tech or life sciences fields. Skills
Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Strong writing and drafting skills. Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. Knowledge of patent laws and regulations.
