E-commerce and Merchandising Specialist (FMCG MNC)

Our client is a leading player in FMCG Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Product & Merchandising Specialist to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central Area - easily accessible. Duties of Product & Merchandising Specialist: Track consumer preferences and adapt strategies to align with evolving purchasing behaviours across online and offline channels Analyse market shifts and apply insights to guide effective buying decisions Identify and introduce new brands and products while maintaining a competitive merchandise mix Manage sourcing, price negotiations, and supplier agreements for new product acquisitions Monitor and plan inventory levels, addressing supply-demand changes and logistics challenges Coordinate with internal and external teams to enhance product visibility and boost underperforming SKUs Conduct regular competitor research to improve assortment, pricing strategy, and market positioning Establish and maintain vendor relationships to ensure service quality and product safety Negotiate for better assortments, costing, and marketing support with suppliers Track key sales and profit metrics to respond swiftly to market developments Optimise space productivity and drive sales performance to meet profitability targets Ensure retail shelves and store inventory are well-stocked and perform monthly stock reconciliations Requirements: Min Diploma in Business related disciplines.
