As the Regional Marketing Leader (ADRML) for Lung in the Carolinas, you will leverage your clinical knowledge and experience to make a meaningful impact on patient care with a global pharmaceutical company. The RML develops and implements Regional Marketing Plans in alignment with the brand strategy to influence local brand success. The RML collaborates with Oncology Business Managers and National Oncology Account Directors to inform regional strategic planning, serving as the link between headquarters marketing and local needs. The ADRML generates timely, actionable on-label customer insights to inform real-time commercialization and strategic planning at the regional level. The role involves developing tailored initiatives to educate and engage local markets, aligning with regional business plans and advocacy efforts. The RML identifies and interacts with regional customers to build market leadership and achieve commercial objectives, always demonstrating ethical business practices. The role reports to the Head of Regional Marketing and works closely with the RML team leader on marketing strategy development. Key Accountabilities: Regional Marketing:

Develop and implement Regional Marketing Plans that align with brand strategy and influence local brand support, utilizing compliant input from external thought leaders. ESE Customer Engagement:

Engage a core group of 35-50 National and Regional ESEs using advanced scientific communication and business skills to foster advocacy. Insights Generation:

Produce timely, actionable customer insights through interactions such as 1:1s, congresses, consultancies, and advisory boards to inform strategic decisions. Business Ethics and Acumen:

Manage budgets, timelines, and processes in compliance with company policies. Internal Collaboration:

Work with sales leadership, ADs, and Brand Teams to develop and execute strategies based on local market opportunities. Other Duties:

Some work during evenings and weekends may be required. Travel:

Overnight travel up to 50% monthly, including Hawaii and overseas. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with experience in managed markets, brand marketing, sales management, or strategic planning 3 years of Oncology marketing and/or sales experience Proven success in building partnerships with industry thought leaders Preferred Requirements: Advanced Degree (MS, MBA, or PhD) 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with experience in managed markets, brand marketing, sales management, or strategic planning 5 years of Oncology marketing or sales experience Extensive experience managing thought leaders/KOLs At AstraZeneca's Oncology Business Unit, we value diverse talents and collaborative efforts.
