Our Coronary & Renal Denervation (CRDN) Operating Unit develops next-generation medical technologies that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life for millions worldwide. Treatments We Offer:
Renal Denervation Symplicity Spyral Renal Denervation (RDN) System We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join a high-performing team revolutionizing energy-based therapeutic medical devices for hypertension treatment. Based in Mounds View, MN, this role requires on-site presence three days a week. Leading the validation of Design Verification Test Methods for complex electro-mechanical medical devices, with experience in electrical system testing. Collaborating across R&D, clinical, marketing, and regulatory teams to develop test methods meeting stakeholder requirements. Supporting and validating test equipment, managing procurement, and automating testing to ensure compliance and robustness. Leading complex validation tasks, data analysis, and report writing. Coordinating with team members and stakeholders to meet project milestones. Providing technical expertise, problem-solving, and supporting investigations. Communicating progress clearly to leadership. Staying updated on regulatory requirements and translating standards into test methods. Planning and scheduling activities to meet timelines independently. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's in science, technology, engineering, math, or related, with at least 7 years of experience, or Advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in engineering development, design for six sigma, pre-clinical evaluations, and ISO standards for medical devices. Electrical engineering expertise. Project management skills. Medical device industry experience. Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations. Data management and statistical analysis skills.
