Content Strategist -
This cross-functional role collaborates across the team to oversee the planning, development, and management of our digital content to support marketing goals, with a primary focus on the website. This includes digital content strategy development and execution, architecture management, content governance, content auditing and optimization, as well as analytics and reporting.
Job Summary
Coordinate, compile and/or create digital content to achieve strategic Institute marketing and communications goals. This position will interact on a regular basis with: faculty and staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty and staff. This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Develop content strategy and coordinate design utilizing collaborative needs assessment and analysis to achieve strategic Institute marketing and communications goals.
Job Duty 2 - Monitor and compile reports using analytics, search engine optimization, benchmarking and tracking for analysis and planning.
Job Duty 3 - Produce, update and maintain website content to ensure alignment with Institute marketing and communications goals.
Job Duty 4 - Serve as subject matter expert and advise unit personnel in areas related to communication content.
Job Duty 5 - Define strategy for content creation and management to strengthen strategic Institute marketing and communications goals.
Job Duty 6 - Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Technical Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience Three to five years job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Strong writer and editor with a deep understanding of how to effectively use storytelling to drive brand affinity and increase engagement with a heavy focus on websites. Expert practitioner in content strategy, website taxonomy, and user behavior best practices, with a firm understanding of the technical aspects of SEO. Big picture strategist who can connect the dots into an integrated plan, coupled with the initiative and expertise to execute. Creative thinker who is adept at managing ambiguity to identify strategic and innovative solutions to complex problems.
Proposed Salary
Salary Range: 63,303.00 (min) - 83,000.00 (max)
