Responsibilities
Understand project issues that should be considered in developing and implementing Strategic Real Estate Plans.
Ability to run full tenant process on multiple simultaneous projects and to own, delegate, and provide guidance and mentorship to other team members.
Negotiate favorable contracts on behalf of clients.
Active in:
Business Development initiatives, Networking, Charitable giving, CGI initiatives or committee involvement.
Member of industry association or organization.
Contribute to meeting PM business goals.
Assist in marketing and project management collaterals.
Contribute to revenue generation.
Improve pitch/win ratio – instrumental in securing PM assignments (internal and/or third-party) and maintaining existing relationships.
Provide expert guidance to other PM team members as needed.
Develop strong relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors.
Experience & Education
Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a project manager responsible for design and construction processes.
College degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and preferably Smartsheets.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Experience managing project teams and multi-phase schedules.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in meetings, correspondence, and information dissemination.
Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets.
Expertise in budgets, schedules, consulting scope, lease/work-letter reviews, real estate processes, permitting, and project close-out.
Ability to pitch independently for PM assignments and manage complex projects.
Demonstrates leadership qualities internally and externally.
