Job Title: Technology DesignerJob Description

A growing and leading engineering firm is seeking a Technology Designer for upcoming commercial, government, and educational projects in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in these sectors. This role involves planning and designing various integrated systems in the technology sector, including outside plant cabling, structured cabling, wireless networks, access control, surveillance, and intrusion systems.

Responsibilities

Interact effectively with clients and other disciplines.

Utilize AutoCAD or Revit to develop design plans.

Plan and design integrated systems in the technology sector.

Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate with project managers.

Prepare Division 27 and 28 technical specifications.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Revit or CAD.

A minimum of 5 years of experience within the technology/telecom space.

RCDD Certification is a mandatory requirement.

Strong understanding of ICT (Information and Communications Technology).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience or strong knowledge of electrical/communications design or circuit design.

BICSI (Building Industry Consulting International) knowledge.

Work Environment

The work environment is deadline-driven yet relaxed, fostering a family-oriented culture with many internal events and development courses. The company offers stock plan opportunities and a flexible work schedule with the possibility of increasing remote work days as tenure increases. Initially, the role will require 2-3 days in the office per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Edmonds, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
