Your Role: Project Manager As a Project Manager/Senior Job Captain at AO, you’ll be the driving force behind the successful delivery of multiple architectural projects — from concept through completion. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and design. What You’ll Do Lead Projects: Manage all phases of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. Client Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Team Leadership: Coordinate internal teams and external consultants, fostering collaboration and accountability. Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor project costs, track progress, and implement strategies to stay on track. Quality Assurance: Uphold AO’s commitment to design excellence and technical precision. Construction Oversight: Support construction administration, including site visits, RFIs, and submittal reviews. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all project documentation is complete and compliant with codes and regulations. Mentorship: Guide and support junior staff in their professional development. What You Bring Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 10+ years of experience managing architectural projects, preferably in retail or commercial sectors. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard tools. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Deep understanding of building codes, permitting, and construction processes. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Restaurant Rollout Experience is preferred. Senior Job Captain Your Role: Senior Job Captain As aSenior Job Captainat AO, you’ll play a key role in the execution of architectural projects from concept through construction. You’ll collaborate with project managers, designers, and consultants to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, code-compliant construction documents. You’ll also help guide junior staff, coordinate production efforts, and support construction administration activities. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate the work of consultants and internal staff to ensure seamless project execution. Design & Documentation Translate design concepts into detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and specifications. Assist in developing and refining design concepts as needed. Code Compliance Ensure all drawings and documents comply with applicable building codes and regulations. Quality Assurance Conduct regular reviews of project documents for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Implement best practices in drafting and documentation. Construction Administration Support construction phase services, including site visits, submittal reviews, and responses to RFIs. Technology & Tools Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard software to produce and manage project documentation. What We’re Looking For Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 4+ years of architectural experience, including project coordination and documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software. Solid understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design work. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Restaurant Rollout Experience is preferred. Skills & Attributes Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift focus as needed. Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive. Strong mathematical and reasoning skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and write clear reports and correspondence.
