Staff Software Engineer - AI/ML, GenAI

What you can expect We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with deep expertise in AI/ML, Generative AI, and full-stack application development. This person will lead the design and development of agentic applications that reason, plan, and act autonomously using cutting-edge AI technologies. This role requires a blend of systems thinking, software engineering acumen, and applied AI expertise. You will design scalable platforms that integrate large language models (LLMs), vector databases, MCP (Model Context Protocol) Servers, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and autonomous agents. About the Team You'll be part of a high-impact team building intelligent systems, combining traditional software engineering with emerging AI capabilities to transform user interactions. Collaborate cross-functionally with researchers, product managers, and engineering peers. Responsibilities Architect, build, and scale full-stack agentic applications using modern web frameworks, microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure. Design and implement intelligent agents capable of dynamic decision-making, planning, and multi-step task execution using LLMs. Develop and deploy GenAI pipelines with techniques such as RAG, prompt orchestration, tool use, and memory management. Lead end-to-end development using technologies like Python, TypeScript, React, Node.js, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Redis. Integrate and fine-tune open-source and proprietary AI models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and performant GenAI solutions. Stay current with trends in AI agent architectures, LLM applications, and emerging tools. What we’re looking for 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years leading complex AI/ML or GenAI-driven applications. Experience building full-stack applications and RESTful APIs using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes). Expertise in LLM integration and agentic system design using libraries like LangChain, Haystack, or custom frameworks. Deep understanding of NLP, embeddings, vector databases, and data retrieval. Experience designing scalable systems for inference, prompt routing, and real-time interactions with large models. Knowledge of prompt engineering, prompt chaining, and evaluating model performance in production. Ways of Working Our hybrid approach centers around offices and remote work.
