We are seeking a Locum Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) with experience in cardiothoracic surgery to provide 1st assist and vein harvesting support. This is a two weeks on / two weeks off locum opportunity, with scheduled coverage required over select dates in 2025. The position offers a mix of OR, call, and limited clinic responsibilities.
First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries
Vein harvesting using open or endoscopic techniques
Call coverage during on-site rotation
Provide post-operative patient management and follow-up
Collaborate with attending surgeons and multidisciplinary team
Document hours using the Vemsta platform
Active Nevada State License or eligibility through IMLC
Minimum 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience
Comfortable with 1st assist and vein harvesting procedures
COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (or valid medical/religious exemption)
Two weeks on / Two weeks off
On-site hours: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
On-call duties during scheduled weeks
