Senior Regional Construction Scheduler
Required Experience:
Minimum eight (8) years of full-time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in educational facilities or public works projects.
Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management from a recognized college or university.
OR
Bachelor's degree in any field with an additional two (2) years of relevant experience.
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superior organizational and planning skills.
Ability to build effective working relationships with project teams and staff.
Understanding of cost engineering, scheduling, and schedule forensics principles.
Duties:
Report to the Sr Construction Manager for Scheduling and Estimating, providing updates and reports for upper management.
Supervise Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met and coordinate with project staff and contractors.
Develop and maintain program schedules, including relationships, milestones, and constraints.
Interpret detailed construction drawings and review contractor schedules for compliance and accuracy.
Perform QA/QC on schedule submissions, including critical path and resource loading analyses.
Conduct schedule time impact analyses and negotiate delays with contractors.
Review scope and contract terms to assess time extension merits.
Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
Monitor project progress on-site and report findings.
Communicate effectively with contractors and project teams regarding schedule matters.
Regularly review and update program schedules and prepare reports as directed.
