W2 Only Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned

Functional IT Project Manager

with strong experience in the

Banking/Financial sector , specifically in

Risk and Compliance ,

Portfolio Delivery , and the

SDLC process . The ideal candidate will lead the

Modern Data Platform

transformation program, managing high-complexity deliverables in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. Key Responsibilities:

Drive

end-to-end project execution

across infrastructure and data platform initiatives.

Collaborate with platform teams, CIO partners, infrastructure delivery, and central PMO.

Develop detailed transition plans and long-term success measures.

Present regular updates and project status to

senior leadership .

Define and socialize

project milestones

and deliverables with stakeholders.

Lead

risk mitigation

and

issue resolution

strategies.

Use

Agile/Scrum

methodologies and tools (especially

Jira ) to track progress.

Escalate issues to Portfolio Delivery Manager and senior leadership as needed.

Maintain strong partnerships with technical teams and ensure accountability for deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years

of project management experience in

banking or financial services .

Proven

functional project management

capabilities (not focused on hands-on technical tasks).

Experience with tools like

CECE ,

PPRT ,

TPAS , or

Remedy

(proficiency in any one is acceptable).

Strong understanding of

SDLC ,

risk & compliance , and

portfolio delivery

processes.

Excellent

presentation skills

using

PowerPoint

and

Visio .

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with

Hadoop

and data platforms is a

plus .

Must be comfortable working in a

hybrid model

(onsite and remote as required).
