Join our dynamic team as a Lead Maintenance Coordinator! In this role, you will spearhead the maintenance team dedicated to the efficient operation, upkeep, and repair of our production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. Your leadership will be critical in minimizing downtime, ensuring safety standards, and supporting production goals through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager. Benefits & Perks: Competitive Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000 annual salary based on experience and qualifications. Essential Functions - Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks. Maintain production equipment, machinery, tools, and facility infrastructure with utmost care. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime and prolong equipment life. Review completed work orders and match PM actions to improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). Identify required work and develop effective methods for completion. Plan and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring readiness with prepared kits for repairs and projects. Assess technician availability, skill sets, and estimate hours and material costs on work orders prior to issue. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures. Promote a culture of safety and accountability by ensuring adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Train, mentor, and guide maintenance staff on equipment knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and maintenance best practices. Monitor and track maintenance work orders through the CMMS for accuracy, completion, and quality of work, while holding technicians accountable. Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts to support efficient repairs and minimize downtime. Manage the Tool crib inventory and distribution effectively. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support production goals and continuous improvement projects. Contribute to capital improvement projects, including new equipment installations and relocations. Support equipment upgrades and process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Provide input for annual budget planning regarding maintenance operations, equipment needs, and facility upgrades. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted. 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, systems, and maintenance best practices. Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and maintenance planning. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Experience with saws and vinyl welding equipment is a plus. Flexibility to work hours as needed to support production. Work Environment: Ability to walk and remain on feet for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
