The Assistant Superintendent supports the Superintendent in the overall management of construction projects, ensuring that field operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and schedules. This role is integral to maintaining high-quality standards, effective subcontractor coordination, and strong communication between field and office teams.

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Superintendent in managing daily construction operations. Coordinate subcontractors ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards Monitor field productivity and proactively identify solutions to potential delays or issues Promote a culture of safety in alignment with OSHA, Cal OSHA, and company standards Conduct daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and jobsite inspections Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and maintain a safe jobsite Ensure all work meets project specifications, drawings, and quality standards Assist in inspections, testing, and punch list processes Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation, including daily reports, photos, and logs Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and owner representatives Support the Superintendent in maintaining and updating project schedules

Qualifications: Work in Los Angeles County or Orange County Hold either a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Architecture, or relevant 2-7 years of industry experience Minimum of 2 years of construction field experience in education or public works projects preferred Proficiency with construction drawings and specifications Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices
