Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQuality Technician/Inspector We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician/Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality inspection processes, GD&T interpretation, and proficiency with inspection equipment and software. This role involves inspecting in-process and finished products, creating and maintaining inspection programs, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards. The Quality Technician/Inspector will play a key role in maintaining our product quality and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

Perform inspections of in-process and finished products to verify conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.

Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.

Conduct incoming inspections on raw materials and components to ensure compliance before production.

Create and maintain inspection plans and programs using CMMs and other advanced metrology tools.

Operate and program CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines), portable inspection arms, and other inspection equipment.

Use and maintain hard gages, surface plates, and other precision measurement tools.

Maintain gage calibration records and coordinate external calibration services as needed.

Document non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.

Generate and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation to support AS9100 and ISO9001 compliance.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve inspection processes.

Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely quality records.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with company safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in using inspection equipment including CMMs, portable arms, and hard gages.

Hands-on experience with Calypso, PolyWorks, and CAM2 software.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

In-depth knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documents.

Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 quality management systems.

Experience with gage calibration management and recordkeeping.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment.

Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs as required.

Military experience is considered an asset but not required.

Must have clean background and pass a drug screening.

Pay:
