Part Time HR and Recruiting Assistant Ideal schedule 24 hours, 3 days a week but flexible if needed Location: National City Duration: Temporary 10+ weeks Pay: $22 - $25 depending on experience Industry: Non-profit Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a motivated Part-Time Human Resource and Recruiting Assistant to join a local non-profit recognized for their community contributions. This role is perfect for someone with previous HR and recruiting experience who is eager to contribute to a supportive work environment. The position offers a flexible schedule of approximately 24 hours per week, making it ideal for someone looking to balance work with other commitments.
Responsibilities
Answer department communication, including emails and phone calls. Assist hiring managers with creating and refining job descriptions. Recruit program-specific roles, such as Counselors, Assistants, and Therapists. Schedule interviews, both in person and virtual, coordinating with candidates and hiring teams. Verify that candidates meet required background and certification criteria. Coordinate and track the onboarding process, including conducting background checks.
Qualifications
Previous Human Resource and Recruiting experience is required. Ability to start a temporary 10+ week role as soon as possible. Capability to work part-time, about 24 hours a week, with a flexible schedule. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Intermediate skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Required Work Hours
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with first-shift hours. The role requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate about 24 hours per week.
