H2M architects + engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering and environmental consulting firm has an immediate opening for a
Staff Engineer in our HVAC Department.
This position is an amazing opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with 2-4 years experience seeking to continue his/her growth in a strong learning environment to further design knowledge; enhance project management skills and encourage client relationship building. Job Responsibilities Design and development tasks, including drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications for various large and small scale HVAC projects. Assist in performing project administration including gathering information, writing reports, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports. Coordination with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm. Client interaction and teamwork with other disciplines. Other duties as assigned. Education and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 2-4 years of design experience in a consulting environment with an emphasis on HVAC projects. Experience preparing construction specifications and drawings. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The
salary range
for this role is
$65,000 - $80,000
annually. The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications – not related to any applicant’s characteristics protected by local, state or federal law.
